A new lens was created out of a heart to encourage and guide other women in the process of trying something new. As it goes with so many things in life, we are constantly evolving and going back to the drawing board in order to keep first things first. When I evaluated how to continue doing what I love but still be fully present with my family, I decided to open my hands to sharing my experiences to mentor others. I've only known what it was like to run a business as a mom of littles, and although it is still challenging in the best of ways, it is worth the sacrifice. Many photographers can teach you the basics, but this mentorship was born out of a perspective that seeks to balance the tension of motherhood & business owner. This investment will set you up with a blueprint for starting your photography business all the while navigating the balance of Motherhood. I will be your right hand girl helping you navigate all the decisions you'll have to make and lessons you will learn all while having fun!

Each week will have prework that you will look over and do before our Monday call. You will use my guide to help you learn at your own pace. On our call we will go over that weeks content and then a Q & A that we will walk through. Each Mentee will receive a workbook (and extras ;)) that you can use to take notes and write down thoughts as they come to you. After our call you will have "homework" to test out your learning. We will have a Thursday check-in through slack where I will help you troubleshoot & encourage you.

After the first 4 weeks of the course and at the end of the 8 weeks, we will have a practice session with a model family. I will walk you through the session and help you put your understandings of the camera into practice. This is a fun way to feel encouraged by me as we work together to capture the sweet magic that lie between the connections of the family. Here I will share tips & tricks that I do to serve my families.
